LittleMissMatched Summer Apprentices are aspiring poets, fashionistas, designers, athletes and intellectuals…kids just like YOU!

Summer Apprenticeships are designed for girls ages 8-14 and the time commitment is about 1 hour each week for 3 months. While these apprenticeships are unpaid, you'll learn lots, create cool things and maybe even make a name for yourself! Our apprenticeships are virtual, so that means you can live anywhere and be a part of the program.

While we are just completing June's Apprenticeship, we are still accepting applications for July and August. Applications must be received by the 1st of each month. In order to reach this deadline you may scan/email your application to coolstuff@littlemissmatched.com. Our project schedule is as follows:

June Apprenticeship: Blogger

Vacations or Carnivals, Ice cream shops or shows...tell us about your Traveling Toes! As a Blogger, you'll write about somewhere cool you visit during the month of June. Top blogs will be featured on Facebook, LittleMissMatched's company blog, and onDiscovery Girl Magazine's website! We'll help you throughout the month so that your final submission is totallllly cool! Your final blog will be 200 words or less. More to come, but here is a basic schedule of the month:

June 6 - Idea Creation
June 13 - First Draft
June 20 - Editing
June 27 - Final Blog Sent
July 6 - Blog Showcase!

July Apprenticeship: Photographer

Skateboards, Frisbees, Cartwheels and Sun...mix it up for Summer Fun! As a Photographer, you'll send in a super cool picture with a creative caption that shows the fun you are having with LittleMissMatched product. Top photos will be featured on Facebook, in LittleMissMatched's company blog, and on Discovery Girl Magazine's website...how awesome! All images should be sent in JPEG format. More to come, but here is a basic schedule of the month:

July 25 - Photo Ideas Sent
August 1 - Final Photo Sent
August 5 - Photo Showcase!

August Apprenticeship: Product Designer

Design your OWN line! As a Product Designer, you'll submit a new product idea for LittleMissMatched. Top ideas will be featured on Facebook, in LittleMissMatched's company blog, and on Discovery Girl Magazine's website! We'll also present key designs to LittleMissMatched's Creative Director who will consider ideas for future lines...how cool! More to come, but here is a basic schedule of the month:

August 8 - Learning & Research
August 15 - Product Idea & Vision
August 22 - Product Details
August 29 - Final Product Idea Sent
September 5 - Product Design Showcase!

At the end of the Summer, you will receive a Design Apprenticeship certificate and a thank you gift too!
